It's hard to pick a single day from the Orioles' magical 2012 season (thanks, 2012 Marylander of the Year Buck Showalter). There was, of course, the Oct. 8 3-2 victory over the Yankees -- the team's first at-home postseason victory in 14 years. But for the right combination of pageantry and performance, it would be hard to beat Sept. 29, when the team closed out its celebration of Oriole Park at Camden Yards' 20th birthday by dedicating a statue to Brooks Robinson (the sixth and final statue to be placed in the plaza beyond the left-centerfield fence), then went on to defeat the Red Sox, 4-3, and move into first place in the AL East.
