Former Ravens running back Matt Lawrence has joined the legion of former NFL players suing the league in a concussion-related lawsuit.
Lawrence alleges fraud, conspiracy and negligence on the part of the NFL for concealing the risks of long-term damage from head injuries..
The Ravens declined to comment on the litigation.
A former undrafted free agent from the University of Massachusetts, Lawrence, 27, spent the past two seasons on injured reserve with knee problems.
Lawrence rushed for zero yards on four carries during the 2009 season when he played in eight games, catching one career pass for four yards.
He is currently a free agent.
