FROM THE WEEKEND...

: Volunteers with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council -- a group made up of the region's elected executives -- are spreading out downtown, educating drivers and walkers to be vigilant and adhere to traffic laws.

: Fire and police officials are investigating an East Baltimore fire as a possible arson after finding evidence of a Molotov cocktail at the scene. Firefighters responded to the site of the fire, a vacant home in the 1100 block of Barclay Street, at about 9:20 a.m. Sunday.

: Two adult drivers, including a Baltimore City police officer, were transported to the hospital Sunday afternoon following a two-car accident in the 800 block of Walker Avenue, near The Alameda.

: I'll Have Another, fresh off winning the second leg of the Triple Crown, nipped at anyone who came by Sunday morning. He was more playful than ornery.

: Baltimore-area colleges and universities will hand diplomas to thousands of students in ceremonies that began May 11 and will carry through next week. This diverse lot will encounter a job market that remains uncertain.

: Sybrina Fulton told the congregation that she was visiting the mega-church to see some of the thousands who have stood with her family to demand justice for her son, who was fatally shot in Florida this winter. Thousands nationwide have rallied to the cause.
