Council members unanimously signed off Tuesday on accepting the $110,000 property, which consists of 11 acres on Maple Avenue near Frederick and Rolling roads.

: A 62-year-old man was standing in the median strip of the 3500 block of Park Heights Ave. just before 3:30 p.m. when he was struck by a passing vehicle, according to a Baltimore Police spokeswoman. He was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital.
