Grubbs doubtful, Carr and J. Smith out vs. Titans

released the final injury report of the week, and starting left guard

Ben Grubbs

is listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest at the

Tennessee Titans

Grubbs has been bothered by a toe injury that has shelved him for the entire week of practices, but both he and coach

John Harbaugh

maintained some hope that he would be available.

If Grubbs -- who has made 67 consecutive starts at left guard since the beginning of the 2008 season -- cannot play,

Andre Gurode

will slide in at left guard. Gurode, a five-time Pro Bowler at center, made 38 starts at guard in his first three seasons with the

Dallas Cowboys

The team ruled out cornerbacks

Chris Carr

(left hamstring) and

Jimmy Smith

(high left

ankle sprain

). Smith's status wasn't a surprise as Harbaugh had said on Monday that Smith would likely miss a few weeks.

The decision to keep Carr from playing ends his streak of playing in all 102 games of his seven-year career. Carr declined to discuss his injury on Friday, but on Thursday, he said he would be prudent about testing his hamstring.

Wide receiver

Lee Evans

(left ankle) fully participated in practice for the second straight day and is probable. Also probable is fullback

Vonta Leach

(foot), who was added to the injury report on Friday.

For the Titans, starting strong safety

Chris Hope

(shoulder) is doubtful. He has not practiced this week.

Starting defensive end

William Hayes

(shoulder) is questionable. He did not practice Thursday and Friday after being limited Wednesday.

Listed as probable are starting defensive end

Jason Jones

, backup defensive end

Derrick Morgan

(knee) and and backup running back

Javon Ringer

(back). Starting wide receiver

Nate Washington

(non-injury related) was removed from the injury report.
