During consecutive series of the fourth quarter Sunday, Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin and cornerback Cary Williams both drew unnecessary roughness penalties.
The outcome of a 34-17 loss to the Denver Broncos was already pretty much decided at that point and frustration may have set in for a team skidding into its third consecutive defeat.
Boldin leads the team with nine penalties this season, including two unnecessary roughness infractions.
On video, Boldin can be seen knocking Broncos cornerback Chris Harris to the ground with a shoulder block. Quarterback Joe Flacco threw it away while being pressured by outside linebacker Von Miller.
Later, Williams tackled wide receiver Eric Decker well out of bounds after being beaten for a 13-yard catch.
"Anquan’s does not bother me at all," Harbaugh said. "Anquan was blocking back. It was a legal block. I saw it on tape. It was a block when Joe was running out and a guy was pursuing to tackle Joe, and it was a perfectly legal block.
"Cary’s was late. Cary’s was out of bounds and late. Cary would be the first to tell you that was a mistake.”
