Aaron Wilson, Ravens reporter: Ravens pull out lackluster, ugly victory over
Edward Lee, Ravens reporter: The optimist will say that a win is a win, and perhaps a few weeks from now, we won't even remember the score of this game. But the Ravens were lackluster in their first game since Sept. 27, and you can't pin this on the defense. That unit forced four turnovers and put the offense in a position to get points.
Ron Fritz, sports editor: Not sure why the Ravens keep playing down to their opponents on the road, but this was one ugly game. The offensive line certainly needs more work because it was abused by the Chiefs. The defense couldn't stop the run, which makes you wonder why the Chiefs were throwing the ball at all. A win is a win, though, and the Ravens are 4-1.
Matt Vensel, Ravens reporter/blogger: It wasn't pretty, but the Ravens allowed the Chiefs to beat themselves on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs gave the football away four times and took a boatload of penalties, and the Ravens avoided their own back-breaking mistakes. The key in this one was tightening up against the run. After Jamaal Charles ran all over them in the first half, the Ravens played much better in that area in the second. That was the only offense that K.C. had.
