Can you see the real me: Chris Tillman looked almost unhittable in his start against the White Sox on Tuesday night, which continued what appears to be an amazing transformation with a 7-2 record and 3.26 ERA. Of course, it shouldn't be all that surprising, considering he's still in his early 20s and he was once rated very highly among the top prospects in the sport by Baseball America. There's lots of talk about the great mechanical adjustments he made at the minor league level this year, but the reasons for his success are pretty simple. He is getting ahead of hitters quickly, keeping them guessing and working with confidence inside the strike zone. In other words, he's growing up.
