Without inside linebacker Ray Lewis in the lineup, the Ravens are prepared to go with Josh Bynes at linebacker again opposite weakside inside linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo.
There's a much greater possibility this week that inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe gets back on the field after missing the past three games with a sprained right ankle that has hobbled him since a win over the San Diego Chargers.
Ellerbe is a standout as an inside blitzer and talented enough to run down backs in the open field.
He won't be close to 100 percent, but even a 75-percent Ellerbe is likely an upgrade to insert into the lineup.
If warm-ups go smoothly Sunday, unlike how they unfolded a week ago, and Ellerbe's mobility is even decent, the Ravens will likely put him on the field.
