Angela Gaskins, left, and Benjamin Campbell, both seniors at Patterson High School, tie a newly planted tree to stakes on the grounds of their school along Kane Street. This is one of 37 trees planted for Earth Day through a partnership of the Baltimore Ravens and Constellation Exelon, with support from M&T Bank and Parks and People. The Ravens "Sacks for Seeds" program plants one tree for each sack during the season. Employees from the Ravens, Constellation, and M&T worked with students from Patterson H.S. to plant redbud, white oak, and pin oak trees, and well as prune existing trees and shrubs.
