U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein, Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Richard A. McFeely jointly announced during a press conference the filing of a criminal complaint charging 17 Baltimore City Police Officers and the owners of a Rosedale auto repair shop with conspiring to commit extortion. The two brothers, owners of the repair shop, allegedly paid police officers to arrange for their truck to tow cars involved in accidents to their shop for repairs. Baltimore Sun photo by Kenneth K.
