About 15,000 people make their way up Bladen Street to the state house. The <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCIG000038" title="AFSCME" href="/topic/career-workplace/unions/afscme-ORCIG000038.topic">American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees</a> (AFSCME rally against proposed changes to state workers' pensions took place on Lawyer's Mall in front of the State House. Adam Mendelson, Managing Director Public Affairs for Maryland State Education Association (msea) estimated that 15,000 people attended the rally.
