Mike Isabella, who competed against the Voltaggio brothers on Season 6 of "Top Chef," is creating the menus for the corporate and VIP tents at the Preakness this year, the Maryland Jockey Club announced on Wednesday.
Today's announcement also said that the corporate and VIP menus at the May 18 event will have a farm-to-table theme.
Isabella's proposed menu for the Corporate Village and Turfside Terrace includes entrees like coffee-dusted roasted tenderloin of beef, free-range pepperoni chicken with farro risotto and Chesapeake crab cakes with guanciale and kohlrabi slaw. Isabella is the chef-owner of Graffiato in Washington.
