Miss Shirley's Cafe: 4 stars, $$$

Photo: Tyler Cox, with a "That's How We Roll" pulled pork with Southern coleslaw sandwich, on the Miss Shirley's Cafe food truck. Superlative: Best breakfast Taste: Miss Shirley's is the gold standard in Baltimore food trucks and recently was entered into "The Great Food Truck Race" on the Food Network. I had the blueberry pancakes ($9) and the California chicken BLT ($12). The blueberries were fresh and the pancakes were so flavorful I didn't need to put syrup on them. The BLT was every bit as good. Menu: Serving a range of gourmet Southern food, Miss Shirley's rocks it for breakfast and lunch. The chicken 'n' waffles and Hog Wild BBQ sandwich were favorites of others in line. Price: You can get sides, such as gumbo or sweet potato fries for as little as $5, but a meal is generally going to cost $10 or more. They do throw in a side salad with sandwiches. Wait time: Less than 10 minutes. Twitter: @MissShirleys
