To the envy of many friends since I was not a rabid Ravens fan years ago, I got to go to the 2001 Super Bowl. At the time, I was Deputy Mayor for Economic Development in Mayor O'Malley's Administration and it was seen as an economic development opportunity for the city. It was in fact a terrific opportunity to sell Baltimore and also have lots of fun. And I've been a big fan ever since!
