525 Opponents

Israeli grandmaster Alik Gershon (R) looks at a board during a simultaneous chess game at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv. According to the organizers, Gershon played against 525 opponents on Thursday in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for simultaneous chess games, currently held by an Iranian. In order to set the world record, Gershon needs to win at least 80 percent of the games.Reuters photo
