Cesar Izturis (coach or manager)

He's just 32 and hasn't officially given up playing baseball yet -- he played 62 games with the Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals in 2012 -- but when he hangs up his spikes, someone somewhere should immediately give him a chance to manage at the minor league level. Izturis has played under Showalter, Tony La Russa, Jim Tracy and others, and he's known as a coach on the field at shortstop. He may seem too mild-mannered to be a manager, but his teammates will tell you that when something had to be said, Izzy had no problem saying it. And everyone listened, especially the Latino players who held Izturis to a particularly lofty status.
