Jay Gibbons: The Orioles picked up the young first baseman/outfielder in the 2000 Rule 5 draft and definitely caught lightning in a bottle. He had three very productive seasons during his seven-year tenure in Baltimore, including a 23-homer, 100-RBI performance in 2003 and a 26-homer season in 2005. But after the Orioles signed him to a four-year, $21 million contract, he was named in the Mitchell Report and admitted to using steroids. His numbers declined dramatically and he was released by the Orioles just two years into that deal.
