Well, Pro Football Talk's editor Mike Florio, a regular guest on "Norris & Davis," saw the transcript of those comments and he made sure to make his weekly spot on the show super awkward Thursday morning.
"I'm also waiting for an opportunity to defend my honor since you guys didn't when Derrick Mason was trashing me the other day," Florio said before whining some more then basking in a few seconds of awkward silence.
He continued his rant.
"My business interests ride on how people perceive us, and if you've got players out there saying things that are just untrue, it would be nice if folks who know otherwise would just say something," Florio said. "But you're saying it now, I guess, so I guess it makes it OK."
A few minutes later, after the conversation somehow got back on the rails, Florio brought up Mason again.
"We're not biased about one side or the other. We get accused of being biased against each side which I guess means we're hitting it right down the middle," he said. "I was hoping you would have him on."
"Monday would be great, actually," Norris said.
