When Oprah Winfrey purchases 5,500 of your bags and gives them as gifts to guests at one of her conferences, it's safe to say that you a are a force to be reckoned with.
Danielle DiFerdinando's brand of handbags and accessories, Danielle Nicole, has received a huge following in a relatively short amount of time.
At the tender age of 26, DiFerdinando has already accomplished what veteran designers have waited their whole lives to do.
She has the distinction of being the youngest vendor ever to be sold at Bergdorf Goodman, where she worked in the buying office and as a personal shopper for the famed luxury store.
She recently shot an appearance as a guest host on "The Price Is Right." And she's not even done. (Look for a story about the fashion phenom's future plans in upcoming issues of The Baltimore Sun.)
We asked DiFerdinando, a Maryland native who now lives in New York City, for her top handbag trend of the season.
"A fun mini cross-body bag," said DiFerdinando, a tall, svelte brunette, who looked oh-so-chic in a cream blouse and metallic skirt and nude patent leather heels, when we met her at her design space on the storied Fashion Avenue in Manhattan. "My favorite for fall is a suede 'Kate' cross body bag."Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
