New arms

Brendan Marrocco, attended a press conference held at Johns Hopkins Hospital with his team of doctors to discuss his bilateral arm transplant surgery, which was done on Dec. 18, 2012. Marrocco lost all four limbs in a roadside bomb attack in Iraq in 2009. Marrocco, from Staten Island, NY is the first successful double arm transplant at JHH, and only the 7th patient in the U.S. to undergo this surgery.
