Tucker's first collegiate field goal was at Reliant Stadium, a 51-yard field goal against Rice during his junior season.
"It's as good an environment as you're going to find, a good field, a dome-type situation," Tucker said. "It will be cool being back in the Lonestar state."
Tucker said he's gathered roughly 10 tickets for family and friends to attend this game.
"We'll have a good motley crew," said Tucker, who made 40 of 48 career field goals and scored 191 points in two seasons as the Longhorns' kicker. "I told them they can't wear any navy and red. They've got to wear purple and black."
