Industry veterans Classic Catering People just launched a new website on Nov. 12, is offering an a la carte menu as well as two complete dinner packages, each of which serves 10 people -- the Traditional Thanksgiving Feast is $145, and the Harvest Table, inspired by local and organic ingredients, is $190. Copper Kitchen is the recently launched catering concern from Kevin Miller, known best from his days at Ixia. The Copper Kitchen website is up and running. For Thanksgiving, Copper Kithcen is offering an extensive list of sides and desserts for a Nov. 22 or Nov. 23 delivery or pick-up at its Federal Hill commissary until Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. Sides include stuffings (two kinds), a cranberry citrus confiture and white cheddar mashed potatoes. Desserts include sweet potato maple crunch pie and ginger pear bread pudding. Orders must be placed by Nov. 19. Turn your home into a steak house. Participating Ruth's Chris restaurants are offering four of their classic sides -- Green beans and roasted garlic, creamed spinach, baked corn pudding and the sweet potato casserole -- to go for Thanksgiving. Each family-style portion serves from 10 to 12 people and sells for $29.95. Pecan pie is $24.95. Orders must be placed 24 hours before pick-up. Havana Road Artisanal Foods in Towson is offering three Thanksgiving menus --Traditional American, New Traditions and Traditional Cuban. Each serves four people and costs $40. Additional sides are available, too, and they sound amazing -- bourbon corn bread, yucca mash with mojo, sweet plantains and tostones with mojo. Call 410-494-8222 for more information.
