The infield defense remains almost impermeable and offensive production from the infielders has been well-distributed. Obviously, first baseman Chris Davis (pictured) has been getting most of the attention, since he continues to lead the league in several categories and had another strong week at the plate. He went 10-for-21 with a home run and two RBIs. J.J. Hardy drove in five runs over the past two games. And Manny Machado continues to settle in nicely in the No. 2 slot in the lineup, delivering several big hits last week and driving in four runs in the nightcap Saturday. Overall, O's infielders batted .258 with three homers, 14 runs scored and 12 RBIs. Grade: A-
