Before Bernard Pollard rattled helmets with his hard hits, the Ravens got them from Landry, whom they drafted in the fifth round of the 2006 draft. The Jaguars signed him away two offseasons ago, but they released him last week. Like Pollard, Landry has limitations in pass coverage, but he would be a solid box safety when it comes to stopping the run. And while his hits will make noise on the field, he would not be as outspoken as Pollard off of it. Landry could be a decent stop-gap while the Ravens groom a young safety.
