After leading Potomac to a runner-up finish in the Class 3A playoffs, Maryland shooting guard target Dion Wiley is ready to hit the AAU circuit once again.
The Washington Post this week checked in on the four-star prospect, who splits his time in the spring and summer with Team Takeover and the Maryland Ruff Riders.
Wiley hasn't added any new offers since Connecticut joined the chase in January, but that could change as the AAU season heats up. The other schools that have offered are Maryland, Georgetown, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, North Carolina State, Villanova, Cincinnati and Miami.
Trimble averaged 20.3 points per game, but seemed to save his best performances for the most important contests, dropping 33 in the Knights' Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title game victory against St. John's and 34 against Benedictine to win the Alhambra Catholic Schools Invitational Tournament.
** Trimble and Wiley were both named to the Washington Post's All-Met first team.
Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, Iowa State, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, Maryland, Baylor, Tennessee and Georgetown are among the schools recruiting Vaughn hard.
