Woofound raises $1 million in new investment

Woofound found something, alright: cash.

said today it raised $1 million in its latest round of funding. The investment came from unnamed private investors, and a $75,000 injection from Maryland TEDCO, a quasi-state agency that invests seed money in tech startups.

Woofound's first product is a free


app "that uses a signature visual personality game to match people to places and things to do based on their personality and preferences."

The company is also working on a career application with the University of Maryland Baltimore County and
