Yanda well aware of Texans' Jamison

The Ravens might not have known much about

Tim Jamison

, but the

Houston Texans

defensive end made his presence known by sacking quarterback

Joe Flacco

twice in the Oct. 16 meeting between both teams.

Jamison, who signed with Houston as an undrafted rookie in 2009, had the best game of his career against the Ravens, adding a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Right guard

Marshal Yanda

said the offensive line is cognizant of Jamison, who usually fills in for

Antonio Smith

.

“They rotate some guys in there, and he’s a good player,” Yanda said. “He can rush the passer, and

J.J. Watt

is playing better at the end of the season here, and probably he would because he’s a rookie and getting more experience. They’re a very good defense. They’re talented up front, and they’ve got some linebackers, and they’re playing well in the secondary, too. So they’re a good defense.”
