With Sunday’s AFC divisional contest against the Houston Texans looming, the Ravens added a pair of starters to Thursday’s injury report.
Right guard Marshal Yanda, who is dealing with rib and thigh bruises, fully participated in Thursday’s practice. Inside linebacker Jameel McClain, who suffered a sprained left knee in the team’s regular-season finale on Jan. 1, was limited.
McClain joined fellow inside linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo (sprained right quadriceps) as being limited.
In addition to Yanda, wide receiver Anquan Boldin (knee surgery), inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (post-concussion symptoms), strong safety Tom Zbikowski (post-concussion symptoms) and rookie cornerback Jimmy Smith (post-concussion symptoms) fully practiced for the second straight day.
The Texans reported that four starters – wide receiver Andre Johnson (knee), tight end Owen Daniels (right hand), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (hip) and right guard Mike Brisiel (ankle) – were limited Thursday. Johnson, Daniels and Brisiel were limited for the second consecutive day, while Joseph was a new addition.
Thirteen players fully participated in practice, including five starters in rookie quarterback T.J. Yates (left shoulder), rookie outside linebacker Brooks Reed (knee), nose tackle Shaun Cody (knee), center Chris Myers (knee) and right tackle Eric Winston (calf).Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
