Rick Moody's novel "The Ice Storm," adapted into a film, is set in affluent Connecticut in the 1970s. Online there was much discussion: Was there an occasion other than the key party? Was it a Seder? Tom Nissley, author of "A Reader's Book of Days," a new book that maps days of the calendar with literary events, assured us that it's set during Thanksgiving weekend.
