Who is your favorite author voting for today in New York?

New Yorkers aren't known for being shy about sharing their opinions, and politics is no exception. Empire State voters go to the polls Tuesday to vote in the increasingly contentious Democratic and Republican primaries, and more than a few celebrities have weighed in on the races. Here's who some New York writers are backing:

Writer and actor John Hodgman is usually joking, but this time around, he's not kidding: He's for Hillary.

And in January, Emily Nussbaum, television critic for the New Yorker wasn't feeling the Bern either. Nussbaum won a Pulitzer Prize on Monday for her television criticism.

Poet and essayist Katha Pollitt is with Hillary Clinton, via playwright Tony Kushner:

Prizewinning novelist Junot Diaz spoke to the Boston Globe last week about why he opposes Trump for his immigration policies. But when it comes to the Democratic candidates, he's undecided.

But a couple of authors are supporting Donald Trump (or thinking about it), including conservative pundit Ann Coulter.
