Well & Being at Red Rock refocuses you on what matters most

Share

The Spa at Red Rock Resort has long been the relaxation destination for in-the-know locals. Offering top-quality treatments and a comfortable environment complete with its own entrance, the 25,000-square-foot enclave makes you feel as though you’ve escaped to a luxury wellness retreat — if only for an hour.

After undergoing an innovative renovation, it has been transformed into Well & Being Spa, with new programming that touches on the five pillars of wellness developed by Dr. Tieraona Low Dog: spa and beauty, fitness, nutrition, healing therapies and sleep. There’s also a full menu of options for groups, meetings, conventions and team building that mix up those pillars to promote healthy employees as integral to success in today’s workplace.

The spa’s interior has a much lighter vibe, thanks to a new layout influenced by mid-century California design and earthy elements such as textured marble and limestone. Gold and copper dictate the color palette, and there are comfy leather benches and ottomans scattered throughout. Look for boxing glove lace details on upholstered pieces. Outside there is a pool and shower garden sanctuary where guests can mingle post-treatment or enjoy specialized classes and events.

Well & Being offers a plentitude of fitness classes such as TRX, tai chi and vertical wall yoga, as well as nutrition guidance that can start with a session in the BodPod — which accurately measures body composition — and culminate in the demonstration kitchen with hands-on training in healthy eating.

On the aesthetics front, Well & Being is the first spa to offer Lancer facial and body treatments, developed using products by the famed Beverly Hills dermatologist Harold Lancer. The menu of treatments leans on the Lancer Method’s Interlocking Chemistry, featuring the Lancer Microderm, Sparkle and Glow Body Polish, and the Lancer Method Facial that encourages the growth of new skin cells and collagen with an infusion of oxygen and vitamins.

And since beauty is an important part of wellness, the salon located downstairs from the spa was also redone and includes a full nail bar, hair color and cuts and barber services.
