“Exhibitionism” tells the story of the Rolling Stones, one of the most influential rock ‘n’ roll bands in history. Unlocking their vast private 54-year career archive for the first time, “Exhibitionism” has a limited and exclusive West Coast engagement at The Palazzo lower lobby through Jan. 31. The display includes more than 500 rare artifacts and memorabilia, including 50 years of the group’s colorful fashion statements, 190 original artworks, vintage instruments, interactive sound mixing desks and recording studio, a screening cinema with exclusive content, all ending in a 3-D concert finale.

Beyond three dimensions
Excalibur has added the Ultimate 4-D Experience to its Fun Dungeon entertainment portfolio. Three 15-minute 3-D films created in partnership with Warner Bros. are shown on a rotating basis in an intimate 72-seat theater where special effects like scents, moving air or water jets add the fourth dimension inside the room. The current movie lineup putting guests in the middle of the action include: “San Andreas”, “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”, “The LEGO Movie” and through Jan. 2 “The Polar Express 4-D Experience.” Daily hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with shows running every 20 minutes. www.excalibur.com

The newest touring exhibit at the three-story Discovery Children’s Museum downtown is the interactive “Hello from Japan!” running through Jan. 31. Learn about modern life in Japan in a playfully immersive environment, which includes everything from a kawaii streetscape to a peaceful Shinto shrine park where kids can build a bridge, crawl through a forest, encounter Kami spirits and make a
wish at a wishing tree. The exhibit educates guests about how modern attitudes and traditional Japanese cultural values coexist. Winter hours are Tues. through Fri., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sun. noon to 5 p.m. www.discoverykidslv.org
