Celebrating the Season at Stratosphere

Share

The iconic Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower offers Vegas visitors the height of Christmas and New Year’s celebrations this year.

The soaring Sin City landmark has designed a spectacular Christmas Day menu for its Top of the World Restaurant. And this year Stratosphere is presenting New Year’s Everything — an array of one-of-a-kind party and dining options to welcome 2014. Plus, the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority has partnered with Stratosphere to create “Count Up to New Year’s” – a unique reverse “ball” countdown.

The award-winning Top of the World Restaurant, which rotates 360 degrees to offer unrivaled views from 800 feet above Las Vegas, is serving a scrumptiously seasonal Christmas Day spread. Featuring parsnip tatin with roasted pork belly, rack of lamb with mint chimichurri and Canadian lobster tail, plus Twinkie tiramisu with pumpkin, this bountiful banquet is $90 per person (reservations are recommended; call [702] 380-7771).

New Year’s Everything 2014 includes open-bar parties with jaw-dropping views of the citywide fireworks, including the Tower VIP Party, featuring dancers, specialty drinks and elaborate food stations on three levels of the Stratosphere Tower ($350 per person); the outrageous club-style Tower Party on Level 108, with a four-hour premium brand bar, DJ Mac spinning and a champagne midnight toast ($225 per person through Dec. 26, $275 per person thereafter); and the Level 107 Lounge Party, with a three-hour open bar, special NYE appetizer cash menu and the glamorous DJ Dezie ($175 per person).

For all-night revelers, Stratosphere’s exclusive After Party in the Showroom features an exciting deejay lineup, go-go dancers and a stunning light show, 1 to 5 a.m. ($35 per person includes a free buffet breakfast from 5 to 8 a.m. on New Year’s Day).

New Year’s Eve eats at the Stratosphere include a five-course feast specially created by Executive Chef Rick Giffen at Top of the World ($299 per person including tax and gratuity). For a more casual NYE meal, McCall’s Heartland Grill serves hearty Midwestern-style steaks, fresh coastal seafood and creative comfort food in cozy “cowboy chic” surroundings.

The morning after, Stratosphere’s New Year’s Day Champagne Brunch, including omelet and carving stations, is served 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. ($22.99 for adults; $13.99 for children age 10 and under).

A 15% room discount is available for Stratosphere guests who book NYE parties. Visit www.stratospherenewyears.com for details.
