Festival The annual Strawberry Festival sponsored by the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie. Festival The Ann Arrundell County Historical Society will hold its annual Strawberry Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the historic Benson-Hammond House, 7101 Aviation Blvd. Festival celebrates the agricultural history of Anne Arundel County in the production of strawberries for local and national markets. 'Eastport Luau' Event will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 30 (rain or shine) at the Eastport Democratic Club, 525 State St. in Annapolis. Refreshments available for purchase include slow-roasted whole pig smoked in cherry wood and served with barbecue sauce, Jamaican jerk chicken and five-bean bourbon baked beans.
