The annual party disguised as a horse race came close to making our comebacks list, but we've decided to remain cautiously optimistic about Preakness. Still, you'd be hard-pressed to find a 2012 attendee who wasn't impressed with this year's version. With A-list acts (Wiz Khalifa and Maroon 5), all-you-can-drink beer and, most important, no reported arrests, Preakness seemed to strike the right balance of drunken fun and levelheadedness. It may never return to the out-of-control years, but that's a comeback we probably don't need.
