T. Rowe sells millions of Constellation shares

T. Rowe Price Associates is no longer Constellation Energy Group's largest shareholder after the Baltimore money manager sold almost 14 million shares, according to documents filed Tuesday.

After the stock sale, Price held 294,781 shares of Constellation as of Dec. 31.

Previously, Price owned a 7.28 percent stake — or 14.68 million shares — in Constellation, which is seeking to sell itself to Chicago-based Exelon Corp.

The Maryland Public Service Commission is expected to make a decision on the proposed $7.9 billion merger on Friday.
