George W. Bush is and will ever be one of the darkest blotches on our country. No matter how much he has donated to world causes, he hasn't said he's sorry for the tens of thousands of lives lost, both American and others, around the world. He hasn't acknowledged that thousands of American men and women came home without limbs, or sight or speech.
He has said he has no regrets for his actions — and rightfully so, since he has no insight into the fact he was used as a pawn for some very dangerous men who surrounded him and viewed him as the perfect puppet to advance their bizarre scheme for expanding "American democracy."
It's a sorry day when we celebrate the opening of a facility that bends history and the truth.
