Twas the night before Harbowl, purple lights filled the street
A city's hopes rest on Flacco, whom we should now deem elite.
The jerseys were hung up in each locker room
Soon one team would claim victory, the other: pure doom.
The players were rested, the week before having off.
Because of nation-wide sickness, they'd guard against cough.
Our new OC Caldwell was now at the helm
Of an explosive offense — for fans a new realm.
As night melted to dawn, the big day was here
In hours the Superdome would get real "Hot in here."
Because it was Ray-Ray's last ride, and you don't want to mess
With the best linebacker ever, 52 on his chest.
For most of the season, the O-line was patchwork
A turn-style of positions, except for Yanda and Birk.
But now? I don't think we could ask for much more.
McKinnie's been solid, and hey, so has Oher!
When out on the field there arose such a clatter
The Ravens on offense or defense, it just didn't matter.
Away to the end zone Rice ran swift and fierce.
We've got lightning with him, and a bulldog in Pearce.
On the next possession, they got flagged for holdin'
The 49er's should know — you can't outmuscle Boldin.
There was Pitta for eight, Jacoby gained a few.
Then deep down the side line, to that gazelle 82.
Torrey — who endured such heartache earlier this year,
Wants this one for his brother, that much is clear.
And then what to my wondering blurred vision I saw
Even on defense, the Ravens played without flaw.
That cog in the line, yes — it's of Ngata I speak.
Had Colin "running man" Kaepernick's knees growing weak.
So fling it he did, and he flung it often.
Right to Chykie and Cary — both nails in the coffin.
A Randy Moss fumble, even Ed Reed had a pick.
And late in the game, two field goals Tucker did kick.
Leach high-fived Ray, and that started the hugs,
Ball So Hard they sure did — thanks to a brute we call Suggs.
Tick, tick, tick, went the clock, Baltimore fans gave a whistle.
Then Charm City exploded as if shot by a missile.
And Harbaugh exclaimed after two Gatorade showers:
"For Bisciotti and Art — the Harbowl is ours!!!"
