My daughter is currently in rehab for her knee, and the surgeon has prescribed another MRI to determine if additional surgery is needed due to scar tissue build up. I called to schedule the MRI and received the same response "The surgeon must submit a treatment plan for the insurance company to determine if an MRI is needed." Here we go again!
Pro athletes who get injured can get a diagnosis, treatment plan and surgery scheduled and completed in days after being injured, but our kids can not? By the way, my health insurance is $1,332 a month!
