For example, Mr. Ehrlich laments an expected increase in the number of limited-income people who would be covered by Medicaid. Does he know or care what's happening to those people now? Does he know or care how many of them are suffering illness or worse for lack of health care? Apparently not, since he's horrified by the idea of their becoming eligible for Medicaid.
So if you, too, are troubled by the idea of extending health benefits to more poor people, and would prefer the status quo, where many of them die, you can vote Republican with confidence.
