Of course, we must eliminate any loopholes that rich Americans use to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. You must remember, however, that the top 10 percent pay 68 percent of federal income taxes. Sure, go after those corporations that avoid their financial obligation to this country, but for the others, let's not kill the wounded.
Democrats seem convinced that the federal government would do a far better job of managing our debt crisis and the massive unemployment instead of allowing private enterprise to energize the economy. The stimulus effort failed us. President Barack Obama lied about the millions of jobs that it would create. He is lying to us now about his most recent jobs bill. It wouldn't create any net jobs to speak of, but will keep some people employed and others unemployed for a longer period.
Should we start to tap out the money supply of those rich entrepreneurs who are the underpinning of jobs in the private sector in favor of more wasted government spending? The biggest success story of job creation under the Obama administration took place in Washington D.C. And what did that give us? A more bloated, regulated, bureaucratic government which will continue to bewilder and frustrate us all. The federal government already has cabinet members, but President Obama has created 41 czars to try to avoid Congressional oversight, bypass the Constitution, and to carry out his leftist, socialist agenda.
It seems to me that the current administration won't be satisfied until the remaining wealth of this country is depleted. Don't think so? Look at the current solvency of the programs which were supposed to be untouchable and guaranteed. These drunken and dishonorable sailors need to be court-martialed and sent to the brig!
