A District Court judge on Tuesday ordered a full psychiatric evaluation for a man accused of panicking moviegoers last week at an
Anne Arundel County prosecutors said that Kyle Nolan Tanner, 25, of no fixed address, was ordered by Annapolis District Court Judge Danielle Mosley to undergo the evaluation and be returned to court next Tuesday. He is being held without bond at the county jail, charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.

Police said witnesses told them he left the theater twice and the last time pointed at people, "simulating that he had a gun," and yelling expletives at them. Moviegoers fled, as did Tanner, and he was arrested near Old Solomons Island Road and Forest Drive, police said.
