Two killed, three hurt in Baltimore Co. ATV crash

Two Baltimore County men were killed and three other people injured Sunday in an early-morning crash of an all-terrain vehicle in White Hall, Baltimore County police said.

Police said officers were called at about 4:30 a.m. to the 18000 block of Vernon Road, where they found a Polaris Ranger ATV containing four men and one woman that had been driven off the edge of a cliff and into a stream below.

Stephen David Tracey, 30, of the Hampstead and Jeffry Lawrence Griffin, 29, of Parkton died at the scene.

Two other men and a woman were taken to York Hospital in Pennsylvania. The victims are Megan Strein, 25, of New Freedom, Pa., Matthew Ohlson, 24, of Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Jason Burkenback whose age and address were not known on Sunday evening.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
