A man and a woman were shot in Baltimore overnight Friday in two separate incidents, according to police.
The first shooting happened a little before 9:30 p.m. in the 5100 block of York Road on the border of the Radnor-Winston and Winston-Govans neighborhoods. Two men wearing ski masks got out of a dark colored vehicle and approached the 16-year-old victim, police said.
One man stood watch, while the other brandished a gun and reached into the victim's pocket and stole some money, according to police. When the victim fled down York Road, the man with the gun opened fire hitting him in the left leg, before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing.
Police said they are searching for two male suspects between the ages of 16 and 21.
The second shooting took place in the 600 block of George Street in the Heritage Crossing neighborhood just after 2:30 a.m. A 64-year-old woman told police that she was in an argument with a man and accidentally got shot in the foot as they struggled over a gun.
Detectives are talking to a person of interest, police said.
