Police said William Hawkins, 26, of
When the man followed Hawkins to his car to confront him, he told police Hawkins pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him. Hawkins then told the victim to go back into the house and grab his cell phone that he had left behind.
The victim told police Hawkins was driving a white SUV with K-9 on both rear windows.
Hawkins was arrested on April 30 and charged with first degree assault, use of a handgun during a crime, and having a handgun on his person. He was released the same day after posting $75,000 bail.
Hawkins could not be reached for comment. He has not attorney listed in online court records.
