With continuing development in Perry Hall, Marks said the site will provide residents with a "green space in a growing community." He said finishing the park has been one of his priorities since he served as president of the Perry Hall Improvement Association.
The Perry Hall Recreation Council has raised $1.5 million for the park, an effort Marks said was essential in pushing the plans forward.
