Police responded to Gregg's home and found him with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was treated and released. Woodfolk told police that Gregg, his wife's ex-husband, had visited Woodfolk's home to drop off two children, ages 3 and 9, when he pointed a gun at Woodfolk, police said. The two men wrestled before Woodfolk said he heard a shot fired and saw Gregg fleeing toward Route 543, police said.
