Pat Ogle, who sold the house for the owners, said the home's top selling points were its water views and the second-story deck off the master bedroom that overlooks the half-acre property, including a private pier on the waterfront.
"You have the view and the pier — that's the big thing," said Ogle. "And it's in Bay Ridge, which is a very desirable waterfront community in Annapolis."
The home's pier has two electric-powered lifts for personal watercraft, while the property features a full-yard sprinkler, floodlights and an expanded driveway that leads to a two-car garage.
Its interior features hardwood floors, dining room, living room, family room, kitchen with ceramic tile and four bathrooms.
Ogle said the home was extensively renovated after it flooded during Tropical Storm Isabel in 2003.
He said the owners had the property appraised at the selling price. But the market was slow, and there are still plenty of waterfront homes on the market, he said.
The sellers were Michael and Patricia Higham, according to state tax assessment records. They bought the home in 1999 for $845,000, the records show.
The buyer's name was not yet available in the state property tax database.
