The Purple Eagles (11-11, 6-5) led by as many as 14 points with just over 12 minutes left in the second half. Kelly Van Leeuwen connected on a free throw that sent the score to 40-26 in favor of Niagara.
Loyola took the next possession and countered with back-to-back jumpers by Logan and Sheahin, but a layup by Lauren Gatto returned the deficit to 14.
The Greyhounds were down by as few as eight, after a layup by Nneka Offodile, but a single free throw-layup combination by the Purple Eagles extended the Niagara lead.
Delaware led for most of the game. Towson had the lead for 2:10 in the first half.
Nyree Williams finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth double double of the year. Williams scored 12 of her 13 points and pulled down six of 10 rebounds in the second half.
